When to Color & Trim Hair
Looking to add extensions to your look? I am ALWAYS here for extra hair. They can absolutely make or break your entire look! Below are my top three lines I love to use:
They provide a great length guide on their site to help guide you! The classics are my FAVORITES.
Another one with a great length guide! The classic collection are the most often used.
Most important is to be sure that you are choosing fully human hair extensions. Others may melt, be discolored, and cause many more problems!
For accessories I highly recommend checking out:
This includes accessories that I have used, own and looove. Many are from Sweet V, which is also linked below. Amazon and Sweet V’s website carry different items!
The bridal collection is beautiful, and there’s absolute gems in the pins section!
Another line often highlighted on my page! There are SO many beautiful options here with a very wide range of styles to fit any look. Use “Haley15” for a discount!
Over here you will find a few different prep sheets. One is for your bridal trial with a checklist of what to bring along with you. Please remember that you may bring along one guest, just let me know before so that I can have the room prepped accordingly.
There are also the prep sheets for the day of your wedding. These are great for saving and sending to your bridesmaids and anyone else receiving any beauty services by me. The best time to share these is the week of the wedding. These are very important to help us ensure that your wedding day goes as smoothly as buttercream icing.
Hair Cuts
2-3 weeks prior to your wedding is ideal! This lets the cut “soften” before your wedding, and gives you time to make any adjustments if you need to before your wedding!
Face Framing
If you’ve decided you want to amp up or create face framing for your look, I encourage closer to 2 weeks prior to your wedding day! Also, I do carry my shears with me so if we need to do any touching up the day of, we can.
Coloring
2-3 weeks again! This will also greatly depend on what type of color you get, balayage, highlights, all over color, or another type. Talk with your stylist to see what they recommend. I do recommend giving yourself 2 weeks to let the color soften and look more natural, which allows for any adjustments as well.
For glosses or toning only, doing those 1-2 weeks before the wedding is ideal!
